Personal Interests:
Though I'm a fourth year film student in the undergraduate program, my interests vary throughout the transmedia world. My area of focus in the program is the development of supplemental storytelling content utilizing such tools as webisodes, social networks, comics, novels, films, etc. to reinforce the direction of building worlds with an emphasis on interactive storytelling.
Gaming Experience:
Starting with the Atari, I own most systems along the way of gaming evolution except for a Sega Saturn (surprisingly rare and hard find still working). My favorite system remains the PC though the SNES holds a special place in my heart for being the first platform to really push storytelling forward. I play just about everything though I prefer platformers, puzzlers, and Western rpg's. One of my dream jobs/internships would be to write for Bioware. I'm currently playing Civ V.
What skills I bring to the table:
I have a background in building computers, so I'm proficient with an array of electronics and tech as well as cameras. I know Photoshop, After Effects, and am proficient with most of the Adobe suite (rusty with Flash.)
Ideas for games I would like to create:
I would love to create puzzle platformers and unique narrative experiences (ie: Heavy Rain.)

I'm a professional screenwriter -- Googleable with credits -- getting my Master's in Screenwriting (second year) and hopefully double in Digital Media with a specialization in Game Design. I have 14 completed screenplays. I'm new at this, but I took a Game Design class under Eddo Stern during the Winter quarter and did well. I created 4 games -- three of them physical board games.
"Toreador," where you try to outwit the bull while you draw cards and discuss famous art work with participants,
"Absolution of Marriage" (like katamary damacy in that you collect reasons to get divorced),
"Deadheading" a two shooter digital concept where you try to outwit a serial killer and...
My class piece de resistence "It's Murder" based on Poe's "Murder in the Rue Morgue" a who done it with two beautifulblack and white boards -- a seance and the map of Paris in 1820 . Great game and great characters. Monsieur est Mesdames.
I would like to create a game out of my sci-fi screenplay "anonymous (street meat)." 108 pages.
This is an apocalyptic world within a world not unlike "Inception" with a surprise ending. Two main protagonists and some interesting antagonists. It's being animated into a graphic novel -- black and white with three main splashes of color, red for blood, yellow for the two-tone hair of girl protagonist, and pink for the superheated smoggy skies.
I hope to shoot a 5-minute trailer this quarter using a pixelized image.
This is awesome!

Amanda "Cheese" Krieger
4th Year BA - Stage Management
Personal Interests:
I love the color teal, semi-colons, run-on sentences, and rash and unadvised baking (see left: fully edible Maverick). I am also a fan of drawing, reading, and photography, and I whisper sweet nothings to Photoshop.
Gaming History:
My love of gaming started with my nose pressed against the proverbial glass, as my mother was convinced that console games would make her children hooligans, who said words like "swell" and "cool". I adored Zelda from afar and dreamt about Super Mario Kart. Then Myst appeared on the horizon and my brothers and I finagled our way into a copy, as it was played on the computer, making it easier to keep tabs on our descent into madness. Then came the years of pining after Solid Snake and our first gameboys.
Given my history, I have a soft spot for puzzle games, as well as the Zelda and (embarrassing, but true) Pokemon franchises. Portal and Heavy Rain are my cu
rrent favorites.
What I Bring to the Group:
3D modeling, Photoshop, photography, mad coffee skills, an inane knowledge of nothing useful, and a passionate love of puzzles.
What I Would Like to Create:
Puzzle games with hearts, souls, and kickass protagonist.
